Portobay Blue Ocean (Adults Only), Olhos de Agua (Albufeira)

The hotel rooms are spacious and well-equipped with a huge, incredibly comfortable bed. Having access to a free safe was a fantastic bonus, particularly since other hotels tend to charge for it. The room had ample storage space, and the sea view from the 3rd floor was delightful. However, the replenishment of tea and coffee only every three days was a bit inconvenient, and the quality of some sunbeds needs improvement.

The hotel is situated in a lovely location with a charming view over the sea. The staff are fantastic, especially the bar staff and restaurant servers. The food is overpriced, but the service is excellent overall. The dining experience offers an amazing choice of dishes, though some items were missing. The hotel's facilities are compact but sufficient, and the location is convenient with a slight hilly terrain.

The hotel gets the big things right with clean, comfortable rooms and very friendly, hard-working staff. The dining experience offers a good variety of food, especially for breakfast, with a cafeteria-style setup that may not suit everyone.

My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The room was lovely with a 3rd-floor sea view, just as we requested. The food was always delicious, and there was plenty of choice. However, the room could get quite warm making it uncomfortable to sleep, and some aspects of the room, like the wardrobes, were a bit odd. The hotel provided tea and coffee in the room, but they were only replaced every three days, which was not enough for us.
